SUMMARY:Mosaic-Making Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Garvan staff member and local artist Suzie Burch is back by popular demand with a two-day creative workshop. Participants will have a chance to design and create mosaic garden-planter art pieces. These art pieces can be made by cycling materials often found at flea markets or the neighborhood yard sale. All materials will be provided but students are also encouraged to bring old trinkets\, stones\, and other pieces that people may consider as junk that can be used to be included in the finished piece of art. \nThis will be a two-day event. Participants will be designing and placing pieces on the first day and the finished product will be grouted and cured on the second day. Bring a lunch or you can order from the Chipmunk Café. \nCost: \n$35 for Members \n$50 for Non-members \n
