U.S. National Park Service National Park Week
For one week in April, the official charity of America’s national parks, the National Park Foundation, celebrates America’s treasures with a week-long celebration of park’s history and culture. Wednesday Night Poetry
Wednesday Night Poetry has been one of the longest-running events of its kind in the country. Since it was first held in February 1, 1989, it has not missed a Wednesday where a poetry reading was not held. Open mic for storytellers, songwriters, and poets begins at 6:30 PM. The show is hosted by its founder, Bud Kenny.
