At the National Park Aquarium, you will find the largest exhibit of aquatic life in Arkansas, from the most elegant to the most bizarre. The Hot Springs Mountain Tower is one of the best places to visit in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The Arkansas Alligator Farm and Petting Zoo is the Hot Springs’ oldest attraction, which dates back to 1902 when it was founded. It features over 200 alligators, cougars, turtles, bobcats, wolves, mountain lions, monkeys, ring-tailed lemurs, turkeys, and chickens. The farm also features a petting zoo where you can feel like a kid again and pet goats, emus, llamas, white-tailed deer, pigs, baby alligators, and other animals. Witness a live alligator feeding shows every Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. Or feed a baby alligator yourself using meat on a stick. Lake Ouachita State Park – offers cabins and campsites on the eastern shore of Lake Ouachita, as well as hiking and biking trails, picnic areas, boat rentals, and others. The 36-mile Lake Ouachita Vista Trail is a popular destination among hikers and mountain bikers.
Womble Trail – located near Mount Ida, this 38-mile long trail is recognized by the International Mountain Biking Association as an epic ride.
Hot Springs, Arkansas is home to many golf courses, as well as two championship golf courses, both located at the Hot Springs Country Club. Both are listed on The Natural State Golf Trail.
