The 2018 Malvern Duathlon is an event organized by Arkansas Getting Everyone Outside (GEO), a 501(c)(3) organization, to inspire everyone to be more active by engaging in outdoor activities. Two events will be held, namely the running event, which will be inside the park, and the cycling event, which will be held on Highway 84. The race will be held at WWP. The Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs will be having its sixteenth annual Holiday Lights event beginning Saturday, November 17th and running through New Year’s Eve. Experience a lighting event like no other. View the garden in a whole new light and there’s plenty of them to go around as lights will be covering 18 acres of the 210-acre garden.   Cost:    $15 for Adults $5 for Ages 4-12 Free for Ages 0-3 and GWG Members

Hot Springs has hosted the Forrest Cup on four separate occasions – on Lake Hamilton in 2005 and on Lake Ouachita in 2007, 2011, and 2015. Ouachita River Challenge

This triathlon event begins at the Ouachita River Park as participants are transported to the base of the Remmel Dam to begin the 5-mile kayak event during the first stage of the race.
