American Idol runner-up and alum Lauren Alaina is coming to Magic Springs Theme and Water Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The country star is set to perform at the Timberwood Amphitheater on Saturday, August 4 at 8 PM.
The 23-year-old Alaina will be performing as part of the Magic Springs and Crystal Falls 2018 Concert Series.
Alaina appeared on the tenth season of American Idol where she was an early judge favorite as judge Steven Taylor announced “We found the one.” She competed with another country singer, Scotty McCreery. During the season finale, Alaina sang the song Before He Cheats with her idol Carrie Underwood. Alaina was eventually declared as the competition’s runner-up.
In 2011, Alaina released her debut album Wildflower, which debuted at number 1 on the country music charts. Her sophomore album release, Road Less Traveled, was released in 2017. The album produced the very first #1 hit of career with the song of the same name.
During the 53rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, Lauren Alaina took home the award for New Female Vocalist of the Year and won a CMT Music Award for “Best Collaborative Video” for the song What Ifs with fellow rising star Kane Brown.
Lauren Alaina has been on tour since 2017 and has frequently been on the road with Jason Aldean and Cole Swindell. Her newest single is a powerful ballad Three.
She just recently announced that she is happily engaged to her longtime boyfriend Alexander Hopkins.
